The first annual Gay Mart is a flea/maker’s market geared towards lgbtqia+ people. Gay Mart is meant to be a safe space for all lgbtqia+ creators, vendors, and entertainers to showcase their products in booths set up in either the Market Square Park or inside the Story Garage, located adjacent to the park. The historic park is an open, welcoming, and fresh spot to set up in, with space for food trucks/vendors and even has plaques detailing the history of the location, while the Story Garage has art on and inside the building for people to see.
