PRIDE Ale Beer Release with the Pride Center of WNYEvent Category:
Since 2012 we’ve stood with and alongside our LGBTQ+ neighbors, employees and family during Pride Week, and throughout the year.
For 2021, Buffalo Pride Week is promoting non-crowd-based programming that encourages and uplifts LGBTQ+ people in WNY while keeping everyone safe.
“Pride Week is more than just a parade and festival, it’s about our entire Buffalo community coming together to celebrate LGBTQ+ culture and identity.” – buffaloprideweek.com/events
BREWED FOR ALL COMMUNITIES
PRIDE Ale, in partnership with the Pride Center of Western New York, is brewed with the goal of fostering a sense of togetherness and place, enriching our communities and bringing people together through the love of great beer.
A Hazy and Juicy Ale for All
5.5% ABV – 16oz. Four-Packs
A juicy, hazy and super drinkable beer made to celebrate the cornerstone of our LGBTQ+ community in Buffalo, NY.
One dollar from every four-pack of PRIDE Ale sold in stores and at our brewery will be donated directly to the Pride Center of WNY.
The branding for PRIDE Ale uses the “Gilbert” typeface, developed with NewFest (LGBTQ+ Media) and NYC Pride to honor the memory of Gilbert Baker, the original designer of the pride flag. Baker was both an LGBTQ+ activist and artist, and was known for helping friends create banners for protests and marches. “Gilbert” is a free font inspired by the design language of the iconic Rainbow Flag.
ENJOY GREAT LOCAL BEER DURING BUFFALO PRIDE MONTH
Buffalo Pride Week kicks off Pride Month throughout June, commemorating the Stonewall Uprising of 1969—the beginning of the modern LGBTQ+ Rights movement.
Stop by our brewery on Friday, May 28 to talk with members of the Pride Center of WNY, and learn more about their mission and upcoming events for Buffalo Pride Month.
Four-packs of PRIDE Ale will be available for purchase togo, or can be ordered ahead of time for home delivery*.
*ORDER PRIDE ALE FOR PICK-UP OR HOME DELIVERY
PRIDE Ale is heading to stores in time for Pride Month, but you can get it first directly from our brewery. Order ahead at communitybeerworks.com/deliveries, or just stop by on Friday to grab beer togo and chat with members of the Pride Center of WNY.
Please note: Our taproom is not currently open for on-site service, but we are working hard to welcome you back for drinks and food on June 4th!
