Pride 2021 Update

Due to the ongoing challenges surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainty over what the next several months will bring, we have made the difficult decision that Buffalo Pride Week 2021 will be a virtual celebration only. Like other festival and host organizations in Western New York and across the country, our decision was made in alignment with current city, state and public health guidance. The safety of the community remains our number one priority. For this reason Buffalo Pride Week 2021 will not include in-person events, such as the annual Pride Parade or Pride Festival at Canalside. Our efforts to celebrate Pride Week will focus on working with the community and our partners to create a series of events that are fun, engaging, and safe celebrations for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies.

We are currently building an FAQ section to help answer questions you may have about participating in Buffalo Pride Week 2021. Please continue to check our social media accounts (Facebook & Instagram) for the most up-to-date information in the weeks and months ahead.

Buffalo Pride Week is hosted by Evergreen Health Foundation, an affiliate of Evergreen Health, and the celebration is presented by Evergreen Health and M&T Bank.

We wish you, your friends and your chosen families the best during these difficult times and ask that you continue to support one another with the same values of Pride that we celebrate each year: love, inclusivity and unity.
